Defining our Core Values. What’s at your core that compels you to act a certain way? What convictions are you fighting to protect? Not, what do you want to be like, but what are you actually like? For YWAM Kelowna, our top core value is, “We live from His presence.” Faith comes by hearing (perceiving), perceiving comes by the word (voice) of God. (Rom 10:17) Our effort/faith comes from experiencing God so close that we can hear Him whisper. It’s been a long-time practice of ours to discern the will of God from time in His presence.
